Summary                     :
Atlantis is a popular folklore or a myth created by Plato thousand years ago. Some philosophers said that Plato inspired by real accident, such as Thera’s and Troya’s eruption, or a visualization by Helice’s destruction, or failed invasion of Athena to Sisilia. But, there were some arguments that Atlantis is definitely real, not a past event visualization, such as Crantor and Xenocrates who tried to discover the Atlantis.

Based on some sources, Plato wrote Atlantis clearly. This island more big then old Libya and small Asean which combined. Egyptian description Atlantis as an island which located about 700 km, mostly consist of mountains in the North and in along the beach and encompass with longitude savannah in the South.

Another passage from the commentary by Proclus on the "Timaeus" gives a description of the geography of Atlantis:

That an island of such nature and size once existed is evident from what is said by certain authors who investigated the things around the outer sea. For according to them, there were seven islands in that sea in their time, sacred to Persephone, and also three others of enormous size, one of which was sacred to Hades, another to Ammon, and another one between them to Poseidon, the extent of which was a thousand stadia [200 km]; and the inhabitants of it—they add—preserved the remembrance from their ancestors of the immeasurably large island of Atlantis which had really existed there and which for many ages had reigned over all islands in the Atlantic sea and which itself had like-wise been sacred to Poseidon. Now these things Marcellus has written in his Aethiopica.

Until now, Atlantis becomes folklore who always conference by the public. There are some books, articles, journals, and Youtube contents who discussion about this one. Atlantis makes our thought develop become criticis, as like aforethought by philosophers. Is Atlantis real? Where is the location?—because there is many arguments about the location, almost 25—, then, if Atlantis is real, whether some people tried to dive into undersea with a submarine, scrape the earth in some locations til’ find the truth?

But, from this folklore, we can conclude that people before us is absolutely great, genius, and more impressive than us. As an example, Atlantis have many flotilla and great technology, whereas there was about 11.600 years ago. Another side, human being definitely has a natural characteristic who arrogant and greed, it is proper if God gave them—Atlantis population—big calamity and sank the island. Ya, this case applies to us.

Point of View:
Atlantis is very mysterious, that’s the interesting side; as we saw on Aquaman film or Spongebob who narrates about Atlantis. This is a smoldering story who can burn our brain to things hardest.

Closing Statement:
The people—especially world conspiracy-lovers—must to read this great folklore, we can read in website, journal, book, or other resources. And one, try to find the truth—if you can.

Thank You.
